Who needs cake when you have Autobots and Decepticons
Okay, so yeah, it’s my birthday.
I stopped counting a while back but today is special. It marks my born day and also the release of my very first Transformers cover. This is huge for me, I still remember opening my gifts and getting mostly Transformers figures, that was my thing, and as pricey as they could get, my dad was all for it because they would Transform into something else. He called it “the Two for One special”. So this is another full circle moment and I feel truly blessed.
Another big release that hits my Bday is my Spawn: Unwanted Violence Trade Paperback. Seems like the universe is aligned today as this is equally a full circle vibe. Spawn was everything and it’s special to see the labour of love collected in one book.
Also, dropping a whole bunch of new stickers, just cuz I’m feeling extra good. Thanks for all the support!

There's something about the love that went into little gifts and treats from family when you were a kid that makes something mundane or generically popular to others feel magical and intimately special to yourself. I feel like everybody has a story or two to tell like that and I appreciate you sharing yours about the Transformers.
My Papa used to give me a toonie to hit up Zellers so I could grab a new Hot Wheel each week, and I always remember that everytime I cruise through a toy aisle now as an adult. I don't collect anymore and he passed a long time ago, but if those memories don't stick with you...
