Jason here. Mike and I have been squabbling back and forth about art books for a long time. We’ve tried multiple times to put together an artbook and indecisiveness always got in our way. We realize if it comes to us, we’ll never decide what to do on our own.
So we need your help. We want to create an art book showcasing the artwork usually hidden in sketchbooks. This type of art is inspired by everyday life, such as the playful ideas that come to Mike while walking the dog, doodles and experiments with different art materials, and anything else that brings a smile to his face and inspires him to draw.
Our options are as follows:
Mike would rather make a large hardcover book (8.3" x 11.7" or larger) with 200+ pages.
I would rather make a magazine-style softcover book (5.5” x 8.25” to 8” x 10”) that has a lower count (48-60 pages) that is released in multiple volumes that can be collected and can be collected into a slipcase box.

Speaking of art…
Mike posted this cover for Ultimate X-Men #7 on his Instagram.
“I had to do it up traditional to get that ballpoint feeling.”
One more thing
As we discuss upcoming projects, we'd love to hear your input on what you'd like to see next.
You can only select one option in the poll. If you want to choose more than one, please leave a comment. The chat function is enabled, so feel free to join the conversation there or leave a comment below.
Commissions are great but seems like they are usually hard to get done. Art books are collectible.
To clarify, I’m interested in an art book. Sure, sketches included are nice, but mostly interested in finished art.
